NYU Precollege offers rising high school juniors and seniors the opportunity to experience academic and student life at New York University. Students take college level courses for academic credit which may be applied to a future degree. Residential and non-residential options are available.
Participants take their credit-bearing courses with college students. Additionally students have the opportunity to participate in a free college writing workshop taught by NYU's distinguished writing experts. The workshop offers students an opportunity to enhance writing skills and focus on college level writing. For more details about the writing workshop click here.
Outside the classroom, the Precollege program offers workshops regarding the college admissions and application process, as well as a variety of on- and off-campus social events and activities. NYU Precollege is a wonderful way for outstanding high school students to get a taste of college while still having time to work, volunteer, and enjoy the summer vacation.

- 2011 NYU Precollege Scholarship Application - Once a student submits the Precollege Application and indicates an interest in Finanical Aid, the scholarship application will be automatically sent to them via e-mail.

A limited number of scholarships is available to academically qualified students who demonstrate a high level of financial need.
