The newly established BHSEC Newark will open September 2011.
Students from all neighborhoods of Newark are welcome to apply.
BHSEC schools are small, with a total enrollment of fewer than 600 students each, and a student teacher ratio of 20 to 1. They are ideally suited for students who are excited by ideas and eager to be challenged. Admission is based on the student’s academic record, writing, and math assessments, a teacher recommendation
(optional), and an interview.
