Scholarship Detail: | The Barclays Nets Basketball Scholarship was established to financially support students from Brooklyn, New York enrolled in accredited colleges and universities across the country. Candidates for this scholarship are expected to be involved in school and community leadership and have exhibited qualities of high character and integrity. For award consideration, applicants must submit the following documentation by the application deadline. For details on how to submit, please go to the instruction section of the application. 1. Most recent official school transcript (unofficial is acceptable for upload) 2. One letter of recommendation 3. An essay of at least 500 words. 4. Applicants are required to complete the FAFSA and demonstrate Pell Grant eligibility. 5. Applicants must be a permanent resident of Brooklyn, New York. Addresses will be verified for recipients. Selected students will receive up to $2600 in a need based scholarship for Academic Year 2011-12. |
